Axel on MySpace (and Xing/openBC)
At long last I was bovvered enough to add myself to MySpace.com, which on second thoughts doesn’t look half as bad as I thought. Since I’ve been self-employed most of my life and went through the motions of the dot-com boom (and bust), online networking sites have been a staple diet for me.
Currently the only profile that remains is the one one Xing.com (aka openBC.com), which is for business users entrepreneurs. MySpace.com is a nice place for all those “normal” folks out there who like to stay in touch with friends and relatives. Although it is owned by a major corporation and used for gathering marketing data, it has it’s benefits and is actually pretty cool. My profiles can be found at
