Andi “Flokatier” Basse of Roaring-Cubes DJ fame has taken some really nice new stills of me which will help add a little personal touch and “flavour” to the new look-n-feel.

Other than the server works, I’m looking forward to celebrating my 30th birthday this weekend. More news and normal services will resume after the 22nd. Have a great time what ever you get up to.

The outdoor “sight-seeing” day was a bit too short and the weather wasn’t on our side either, so we didn’t really get the images I was after. On the whole it was a good day though and I’m happy not having brought my big shoulder cam but the small Canon instead! Running around London with the “baby” one was hard enough on my own. I really ought to have someone with me when I go out and shoot more of Kellie in the coming weeks and months.

I’ve put some stills I took with the photo function of the Canon and put them on flickr.com for now. Finished viewing the rushes now and working out the EDL. More stills and a teaser should be with you soon! Check out Kellie’s news post on her site for more info and photos.

In other news, Chris is currently busy working on his projects and there’s not been as much time to work on our ice hockey documentary as we would have liked. Time’s always too short! A week feels like a minute these days. Still waiting on Let’s Get Lost to let me know what’s new and I have yet to complete the clip for them too. It’s 50% done now. Their tracks sound awesome though, give them a listen at their MySpace page. There’s some interesting stuff happening with the racebabes team and some new projects coming out of it (I hope).

I think I either need to find more time from somewhere or someone who can help me edit the material I’ve shot so far! So if you want to get your hands dirty working on some cool projects, get in touch

Eishockey in Hannover geht voran, ich werde in kürze mir den ersten “rough cut” von Christian anschauen und die Interview mit dem Team festmachen.

Let’s Get Lost wartet auf die fertigstellung der neu aufgenommenen Tracks und ich darauf das ich endlich mehr Festplattenplatz bekomme, um das erste Material fertig stellen zu können!

Das “echte” Design dieser Seite ist auch endlich fertig, allerdings fehlt mir etwas die Zeit um es als Template auch umzusetzen. Daher gibts in kürze zu nächst einmal einen kleinen Screener als Teaser für Euch

PS: Wenn die Deutschen Posts etwas karge sind, dann liegt das ebenfalls daran das ich erst in Englisch schreibe und dann auf Deutsch. Also immer ruhig beide Sprachen schauen um up-zu-date zu bleiben!

Die verfügbaren Sprachen werden jetzt oben rechts in der Sidebar zusammen mit der Anzahl der Einträge angezeigt. Die Kommentare, Posts und statischen Seiten haben nun auch einen Link zur Übersetzung (falls verfügbar). Ich werde meistens Einträge erst in Englisch und dann in Deutsch schreiben, so dass es zum Teil zu kleinen Verzögerungen kommen könnte. Das Plug-in ist so intelligent das es automatisch erkennt welche Sprache euer Browser hat. Viel Spass beim Lesen.

The language chooser in the sidebar (top right) shows you the available languages and the number of posts written in them. Also, comments have links to alternative languages as well as posts and pages themselves. I may not be able to post both versions right away and I will usually publish an English one before the German translation. By the way, the plug-in automatically sets the language based on what language your browser uses. Enjoy.

My equipment currently consists of a JVC GY-DV500 (SD, mini-DV) shoulder camcorder, a Rode NTG-2 microphone, and a Manfrotto tripod / head. A Canon MVX20i mini-DV camcorder with Rode Videomic and tripod serves as backup and secondary camera.

Webhosting and video streaming through my own dedicated server is also available.
